CNC Mill Operator

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must have 3-5 years experience setting up and operating a CNC Mill.

• Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting.

• Take measurements, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot.

• Verify settings by measuring positions, first run parts/samples, to adhere to ANSI standards.

• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.

• Ensure all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.

• Ensure work area is kept clean.

• Any other duties as assigned.

• Good attendance is a must!

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior experience.

• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to read blue prints/drawings and inspect parts.

• Experience with G and M codes and tooling.

• Experience programming, entering instructions, setting tool registers, and offsets.

• Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.

• Ability to prove part programs.

• Able to work well with others in a fast paced machine shop environment.
